The family medicine tradition of Dr. W. D. Henceroth

Dr. Nancy Henceroth-Gatto’s father – Dr. Dayton Henceroth – started his medical practice in the early 1940s in his home on Broadway. Here he provided quality healthcare to the Grove City community and central Ohio.

Dr. Nancy grew up watching her dad care for his patients just as he cared for his family. As a child, she answered the office phone for her father that rang in their house. As a young teen, she worked as an office assistant for her dad, getting to know the families who were cared for by him. She saw the kindness and support her father gave while taking care of his patients’ medical and spiritual needs. Even at night, when the doorbell rang and her father would help a patient standing at their front door seeking care.

Dr. Dayton Henceroth’s tradition continues today. All of the physicians at OhioHealth Primary Care Physicians, formerly W.D. Henceroth, respect the legacy of the practice founder by working hard to partner with their patients and provide that same quality healthcare … treating patients like family.
